The Alameda County Transportation Authority and the Alameda County Transportation Improvement Authority are implementing two voter approved half-cent transportation sales tax measures. The mission of both agencies is to deliver projects and programs as promised to voters in the two approved Expenditure Plans. ACTA and ACTIA continually provide the taxpayers of Alameda County with quality project, program and administrative services.

What's New

Sixth Annual CWC Report to the Public
In July 2008, the Citizens Watchdog Committee (CWC) published the sixth annual CWC Report to the Public. While responsibility for managing Measure B funds rests with ACTIA, the CWC reviews all expenditures of ACTIA and informs County residents of how funds are being spent. This sixth annual report covers ACTIA expenditures from July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2007, and CWC actions during fiscal year 2007/2008.
